I never thought I would be a blogger. I’ve always considered myself a non-techy millennial. But with the changing world and climate that we are currently in, I wanted to create a space where I could offer some knowledge, love, and support from my therapist brain- delivered with my own personal style. Therapeutically, I tend to be pretty laid back and really strive to empower my clients with the knowledge they need to best manage and understand their mental health.
I heard someone use the example that our COVID-19 world is like waking up on a new planet. As we work to find ways to navigate this new world, I've been also on a quest to evolve my practice and reach a larger population of people. It is my continued effort to empower people to care for themselves and their mental health through gaining knowledge and comfort in individual exploration. That's what this lil blog is here to do, no therapy session required.
This blog is not therapy. I am not meant to replace your current therapist or discredit what specific goals you may be working on with your therapist. This blog is informational. We are all on our own separate journeys, and how we head towards contentment may not always be the same.
